Well, I feel like I have been away.. not nec from home.. but from life
Have been off 'work' (real work where I get paid lol) for the last two weeks while I recover from surgery.. Had a deviated septum that was interfering with breathing straightened, and my chronic sinsus's cleared out along with loads of nasal polyps (caused by allergy to just about everything airborne lol)... Don't you just love menopause.. Never had hayfever or anything till I hit menopause..now just about everything makes me sneeze and irritates the sinus sigh....
Am feeling much better day by day.. And in fact today when I cooked some crumpets I actually smelt them as they popped up...small thing yes... but I have had NO sense of smell unless I take Prednisolone for about 5 yrs... so to get a whiff on something without meds is very encouraging.
Have a day out tomorrow first with #1 daughter to the museum to see the Pompeii exhibition and a play day Monday with Eliza, Lucy and Glenda... Then its back to the grindstone...
Have added the pic here of our day out last sunday - at Jen's house....all proudly showing our new pendants :-) (I'm the bleary eyed one second from the right LOL)
Great to see you back Bevlea. Can't imagine what it would be like to be able to smell again! Just keep away from the yucky smelling stuff!
